BettingJobs are working with a leading sports betting operator in Europe who are looking for aGroup Head of Insights to join their team in London.

The Job:

Data Insight and Reporting:

  • Lead a data-driven approach for decision-making and define key KPIs. Deliver data support for marketing/product activities and drive optimization through insights.
  • Own and automate reporting formats for product and marketing teams across our client's brands.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate data insights into marketing campaigns, product development, and commercial strategies.
  • Utilize advanced analytics techniques, including machine learning, predictive modelling, and statistical analysis, to generate deeper insights.
  • Establish and enforce data governance policies to ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Product Leadership and Strategy:

  • Collaborate with the product team to develop and implement product vision and strategy. Align product changes with agreed roadmaps focusing on customer journeys.
  • Define online product roadmaps for web/mobile platforms in line with the company's strategy.
  • Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify trends, threats, and opportunities that inform product strategy.

Stakeholder and Resource Management:

  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders and ensure effective resource allocation.
  • Support the marketing and product teams with budgeting and planning.
  • Act as the key Insights Data Analytics point of contact in the business.
  • Provide Group and local HQs with timely and accurate data analysis upon request.

Requirements:

  • University degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal (C1/C2).
  • Minimum 6 years of experience as a Senior Data Insights or Analytics.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a leading position.
  • Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI skills to prepare communications, models, and presentations of high quality (both narrative structure as well as visual style).
  • Excellent analytical and presentation skills, ability to synthesize information and generate insights.
  • Good understanding of forecasting models, regression, segmentation, market research, competitor analysis, and decision trees.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL.
