We're seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Chef de Partie to join our prestigious corporate hospitality client in Birmingham. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a professional kitchen delivering outstanding food experiences across retail catering, conferences, and high-profile events.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the delivery of retail catering, conference hospitality, and special events
  • Maintaining exceptional food quality, presentation, and service standards
  • Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene, and allergen regulations
  • Working across various kitchen sections as required
  • Supporting the Chef Manager with daily kitchen operations
  • Stepping up to lead the team in the Chef Manager's absence
  • Collaborating with colleagues to deliver a seamless customer experience
  • Identifying opportunities to improve service and operational efficiency
  • Participating in cross-functional training and development opportunities

Essential Requirements:

  • NVQ Professional Cookery qualification (or equivalent)
  • 2-4 years' experience within a professional kitchen environment
  • Food Safety & Hygiene Certification
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and allergen management
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure
  • A proactive, flexible, and team-oriented approach

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Experience within corporate hospitality, premium catering, or high-end hospitality environments
  • Passion for creating exceptional food experiences
  • Creative flair and attention to detail
  • Strong customer service mindset
