AWS Data Platform Architect - London (Hybrid) - AWS - Databricks - Up to £95,000

We're working with a leading technology consultancy that is investing heavily in its Data & AI practice and looking to add an experienced AWS Data Platform Architect to its growing team.

You'll work on large-scale transformation programmes for enterprise and regulated-sector clients, helping shape modern cloud data platforms and AI-driven solutions. This is a fantastic opportunity to influence technical strategy, work with senior stakeholders and lead the delivery of innovative AWS-based data solutions.

You Will Work With

  • Designing end-to-end AWS data platforms
  • Building modern data lakes, warehouses and analytics solutions
  • Implementing Machine Learning and Generative AI capabilities
  • Defining cloud architecture and technical roadmaps
  • Working across batch and real-time data processing environments
  • Driving data governance, security and best practices
  • Leading and mentoring technical delivery teams
  • Engaging with senior stakeholders and business leaders

Key Experience

  • Proven experience as a Data Platform Architect, Data Architect or Cloud Architect
  • Strong AWS data platform expertise
  • Experience with modern data technologies such as Redshift, Databricks or Snowflake
  • Knowledge of Machine Learning, AI or Generative AI technologies
  • Strong understanding of data governance and security
  • Experience delivering enterprise-scale cloud solutions
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • SQL and Python knowledge desirable
  • Experience within regulated environments beneficial
  • SC Clearance or eligibility to obtain clearance
