Architect & Design: Lead the implementation of on-premises, cloud, and hybrid AI solutions.

GenAI Leadership: Deploy and customize a variety of generative models, leveraging Azure OpenAI, Vector Databases, and RAG patterns.

Technical Governance: Managed and governed technical teams to ensure best practices in AI data engineering.

Technical Requirements

Azure Mastery: Minimum 5 years of hands-on Azure experience with a mandatory AZ-204 (Azure Developer Associate) certification.

AI Specialization: Proven experience with Prompt Engineering, Azure OpenAI, Document Intelligence (Form Recognizer), and Cognitive Search.

Data Engineering: Expert proficiency in Python and PySpark for large-scale data processing.

Operations: Familiarity with MLOps or LLMOps frameworks to support production-grade AI.

Seniority: 15+ years of total IT experience, showing a clear progression into technical leadership.

Where to Advertise AI Jobs in the UK (2026 Guide)

Where to advertise AI jobs UK in 2026: the specialist boards and communities that reach AI engineers, ML scientists and applied research talent in the UK. The candidate pool is small, highly informed and in demand across multiple sectors simultaneously. General job boards reach a broad audience but lack the specificity that AI professionals expect — and the filtering mechanisms they rely on. Specialist platforms, direct outreach and academic channels each serve a different part of the market. This guide, published by ArtificialIntelligenceJobs.co.uk, covers where to advertise AI roles in the UK in 2026, how the main platforms compare, what employers should expect to pay, and what the data says about time-to-hire across different role types.
