AI & Power Platform Solutions Engineer

London - Hybrid (2 days per week)

Do you enjoy taking business problems, figuring out the right technology solution, and turning ideas into practical tools?

We're working with a global law firm that is looking to a hire a Solutions Engineer with strong experience with Microsoft Power Platform and AI to join a brand-new Innovation function focused on transforming how technology is used across the business.

This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role for someone who enjoys solving real business problems with modern Microsoft and AI technologies. The team is being created to bridge the gap between emerging technology and practical operational improvement - turning ideas into working solutions that genuinely improve productivity and user experience.

This is not a pure software engineering role, and it's not a high-level strategy position. The environment is low-code/no-code focused, with the emphasis on problem-solving, stakeholder engagement, experimentation, and delivering practical outcomes.

What you'll be doing

  • Building and delivering solutions using Microsoft 365 and the Power Platform (Apps, Automate, SharePoint)
  • Taking ideas from concept through to pilot, rollout and adoption
  • Working closely with business stakeholders to understand workflows and identify improvement opportunities
  • Using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot and other LLM technologies to enhance operational processes
  • Assessing new technologies and determining whether existing platforms can solve the problem effectively
  • Collaborating with technical teams, SMEs and third-party vendors to deliver scalable solutions
  • Translating ambiguous business requirements into practical, user-friendly technology solutions

What were looking for:

  • Strong hands-on experience with the Microsoft Power Platform and wider M365 ecosystem
  • Previous experience delivering workflow automation, low-code solutions, or business process improvement initiatives
  • Experience with AI tools including Microsoft Copilot
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • A pragmatic, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to work in ambiguous environments
  • Previous experience operating within Legal or corporate professional services (such as Insurance, financial services, accounting) environments

Why this role?

  • Opportunity to join a newly created, business-backed AI Innovation team
  • High visibility and genuine influence across the organisation
  • Hands-on involvement with emerging AI technologies and enterprise automation
  • Strong mix of experimentation, delivery and stakeholder interaction
  • Opportunity to shape how AI and other tools are adopted within a global organisation

If you enjoy experimenting with technology, solving messy business problems, and delivering practical solutions that users actually adopt, we'd love to hear from you.

Our client is an equal opportunity employer. They celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive workplace where all employees feel valued and respected. We encourage applications from candidates of all backgrounds.

Where to Advertise AI Jobs in the UK (2026 Guide)

Where to advertise AI jobs UK in 2026: the specialist boards and communities that reach AI engineers, ML scientists and applied research talent in the UK. The candidate pool is small, highly informed and in demand across multiple sectors simultaneously. General job boards reach a broad audience but lack the specificity that AI professionals expect — and the filtering mechanisms they rely on. Specialist platforms, direct outreach and academic channels each serve a different part of the market. This guide, published by ArtificialIntelligenceJobs.co.uk, covers where to advertise AI roles in the UK in 2026, how the main platforms compare, what employers should expect to pay, and what the data says about time-to-hire across different role types.
