The Opportunity:

The world’s leading Aerospace and Defence Company seeks an influential Integration and Test Engineer to support designing, building, and deploying cutting-edge software solutions that not only protect the UK’s security but also push the boundaries of innovation and next-gen capabilities.


The Role:

  • Lead & Integrate:Design, integrate, and deploy mission-critical systems for real-world security operations.
  • Test & Automate:Develop and execute test plans, build automated frameworks, and embed them into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Troubleshoot & Optimise:Debug complex full-stack architectures, ensuring reliability and scalability.
  • Deploy at Scale:Deliver large-scale software solutions across multi-system environments.
  • Cloud & Infrastructure:Work with public, private, and hybrid cloud deployments, overcoming constraints for seamless operation.


Key Requirements:

  • Security Clearance:British-born UK National with active DV (Developped Vetting) Clearance, willing to obtain Enhanced DV.
  • Test & Integration:Proven expertise in test planning, development, and execution within Agile & DevSecOps environments.
  • Automation & CI/CD:Hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD, automated test frameworks, Blue-Green deployments, and optimising pipelines for cloud-based deployments.
  • Problem-Solving & Security:Strong debugging skills for complex systems, with expertise in functional & non-functional test automation, analysis, and reporting.
  • Cloud & Infrastructure:Knowledge of AWS services (EC2, EKS, Fargate, IAM, S3, Lambda), AWS SDK (Boto3) for automation, CloudTrail for security auditing, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Certifications:ISTQB (Foundation, Agile, Performance, Security) or equivalent highly desirable.


Benefits Package:

  • Base Salary: Up to £65,000
  • Bonus: Up to 10% based on individual performance
  • Flexible Working: Options for a 4-day workweek or a 9-day fortnight
  • Pension: Employer contribution up to 10%, matching employee contributions up to 5%
