POSITION: 1x 37hrs Permanent Contract at Clondermott PLUS Reserve List for Permanent/Temporary, Full-Time/Part-Time contracts in our Mental Health/Learning Disability Schemes within the Derry-Londonderry Area. Clondermott House is a supported living accommodation giving care and support for 16 adults with mental health issues. It is situated in the Waterside area of Derry~Londonderry. Clondermott House provides 24-hour staff support services, 365 days a year, supporting tenants to develop skills and get involved in day-to-day decision making. Essential Criteria QCF/NVQ 2 Health and Social Care or equivalent And 6 months experience in a formal care/support role* and previous experience of working with individuals with learning disabilities/ mental health issues. Must be currently registered with NISCC or if new to the sector must achieve registration within 6 months. Previous experience in administrative duties. Or 2 years' experience in a formal care /support role* and previous experience of working with individuals with Learning Disabilities/ Mental Health issues. Must be currently registered with NISCC or if new to the sector must achieve registration within 6 months. Previous experience in administrative duties. Must be willing to work towards the completion of relevant qualification. *Formal Care / Support may include caring at home, where the carer is in receipt of Carers' Allowance. Formal Care / Support may also include voluntary work in a formal setting. All successful applicants will also be required to provide documentary evidence of their right to work in the UK.
