Available from August 2025, two posts for a period of 12 months. Applicants must currently be in a Type I training post and hold a National/Visiting Training number. Applicants from out with the West of Scotland must have the agreement of their Postgraduate Dean to retain their original training number and to return to their original deanery at the end of the year of training.

The post is suitable for existing ST and SpR trainees in Emergency Medicine to gain sub-speciality training in Paediatric Emergency Medicine.

The post would involve 6 months in the Paediatric Emergency Department, 3 months in Paediatric Critical Care and 3 months in Paediatric Medicine.

The Paediatric Emergency department is one of the largest in the
and provides excellent experience in all aspects of childhood emergencies. The successful applicant will work a full shift system, with a Band 1A supplement. 15 consultants support the junior medical staff. For further information contact Dr L Johnston, Consultant in Emergency Medicine by email
