The Role
In your role as a Solutions Architect, you will be working alongside other Architects, delivery teams, and with key business stakeholders to develop the system architecture for complex solutions. For smaller change programmes you will additionally provide ongoing architectural leadership and coaching.
Your typical workload will be split between leading these client-side engagements, often large change programmes, discovery work and providing recommendations to Axiologik clients, through to being hands-on within a team. As such, whilst predominantly operating as a Solutions Architect, we expect you to be confident in fulfilling a varied role utilising a broad understanding across other architectural disciplines.
Outside of client engagements, you will collaborate across our business on new offerings, representing the practice in cross functional teams, supporting new business development and commercial bids.
There is a requirement to be onsite in our central Leeds office 1 to 2 times a week. This can be discussed with your manager for full flexibility and can be restructured to best suit your needs, as well as the occasional travel to client site.
Essentials
- You have used your experience in digital, agile, and product-centric environments to create roadmaps and architecture models, lead technology selection, and to continuously improve ecosystems.

- Your solutions balance the financial considerations of technology choices, and you advocate for FinOps, cost optimisation, and sustainability best practices.
- You maintain appropriate quality in response to ongoing change and are capable of optimising and refining technical designs throughout the lifecycle – balancing risk, impact, and complexity.
- You are a coach and mentor to other architects and technical designers and have worked closely with delivery teams to realise your designs – your track record of delivery has ensured that your solutions were delivered well and maximised value outcomes.
- You listen to and interpret the needs of technical and business stakeholders, supporting when there may be difficult discussions across diverse stakeholders.
