Location:Hybrid, with required office presence in London and occasional travel to manufacturing sites in Warrington and Spalding.

Join our dynamic Solutions Architecture team, where we define and align the technology vision from concept to delivery at conceptual, functional, and technical levels. Our team of three collaborates to optimise the technology landscape, enabling future growth and scalability.

As a Solutions Architect specialising in Manufacturing and Supply Chain, you will apply technical expertise and best practices to optimise our technology stack, mitigate risks, and reduce costs. You’ll demonstrate a bias for action by validating designs with proof of concepts and rapid go-to-market strategies. Engaging with senior stakeholders, you’ll align technology solutions with business strategies, ensuring the optimal tech stack for our operational systems.

Core Responsibilities:

• Be a trusted advisor to stakeholders to envision the technology aligned to their business strategies
• Develop and own an enterprise roadmap to manage the life of our operational systems
• Develop and own an enterprise-level application portfolio management system and process
• Dissolve friction points in our tech landscape from the business’ perspective
• Produce initiative proposals to optimise for cost and risk reduction
• Rally teams to work on solutions, collaborating across functional and product areas
• Assess the suitability of software vendors and their technology for Gousto’s tech landscape

Minimum Qualifications:

• Architectural Skills: Experienced in designing and implementing solutions using modern technology platforms, including microservices and event-driven architectures.
• Expertise in Industry 4.0 Technologies: Proficient in Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), cloud computing, data analytics, artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML), industrial automation, use of Python, and APIs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Industrial Systems Knowledge: Familiar with Industrial IoT, Unified Namespace (UNS), SCADA, MES, OEE, Data Lakes, and ISA95 standards.
• Warehouse Systems Proficiency: Knowledgeable about Warehouse Control Systems (WCS) like Dematic DiQ and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• DataOps Tools: Familiar or skilled in creating solutions around Highbyte Industrial DataOps, Ignition by Inductive Automation, and simulation systems.
• AWS Cloud Services: Competent with core AWS services such as AWS IoT range of services, SNS/SQS, Kinesis, and Lambda.
• Domain-Driven Design: Experienced in architecting technology landscapes using Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles.

Certification: AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification or a similar credential.
