Senior Solicitor/Partner/Consultant

I am assisting a well-established and growinglaw firm, to expand their team of Partners. The firm has a reputation for providing exceptional legal services to clients across various sectors such as; Private Client, Corporate, Commercial, Dispute Resolution/Litigation, IP, Real Estate, Tax, IT, Employment, Regulatory, Fintech etc

The firm work on a consultancy modelandthey are described as combing the best parts of private practice and consultancy. The firm was established by the Partners (a former CEO & a consultant at a leading fee sharefirm) as they recognised and understood the typical pain points of a consultancy model and put plans in place to keep a strong Commercial brand, a measured recruitment process and fantastic culture/retention rates.

What they are doing differently

  • Recruitment process to ensure they are recruiting not only the best talent, but also ensuring a great cultural fit (not just recruiting based on extent of following)
  • Havean uncompromising approach to quality
  • Maintaining a collaborative, energetic & enthusiastic approach (no silo mentality)
  • Access to teams to support you with Compliance, Finance, Admin, Marketing, as well as support from paralegals. This enables you to focus on building your practice and benefits your clients.
  • Support provided during restrictive covenant periods they understand that solicitors sometimes have restrictions in place when moving to a new firm, so during the interview process they will be able to discuss what work can be internally directed to you, while you continue to build your client base. The managing partners will work with you closely on marketing & BD initiatives.
  • They maintain a busy & active social calendar, both face to face and virtually. This helps create a great culture, even though the Partners work all across the UK/Internationally.

What you get

  • Take home 75% of your billings + referral fees are set between 10-30%.
  • You decide when, how and where you work (you can achieve a genuine work life balance) - Remote working as standard
  • Take as many holidays as you want
  • A firm that nurtures and inspires a team culture
  • Opportunity to work with talented and well ranked Partners
  • Work for a firm recognised as Boutique Firm of the Year 2023, by Legal 500 & Law Firm of the Year 2024 (Modern Law Awards)

Requirements

  • Client following of £150,000+
  • 10+ PQE (although I will consider candidates with less, that have great experience)
  • The firm are looking for people that will be a great culture fit, are personable, approachable and collaborative.

Location:UK (Remote working available, with offices to use in London, Birmingham & Manchester)

Remuneration:75% of your billings
