Our client is seeking an accomplished Senior Software Engineer to join an innovative team delivering mission-critical software systems for a process of national importance. This is a permanent full-time position offering the chance to work on cutting-edge projects with a mix of on-site collaboration (Milton Keynes area) and remote work.
?? About You :
You're a dynamic problem solver with a strong mathematical or technical background, likely holding a degree in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science , or a related field. You thrive in collaborative environments, guiding teams to deliver complex IT solutions while continuously learning and applying the latest technologies.
?? What they're looking for :
? Hands-on experience in application design, full-stack development, and API integration.
? Proficiency in back-end technologies (Java, Python) and front-end frameworks (React, vanilla JavaScript).
? Expertise in secure DevOps practices, containerisation (Docker), and Agile methodologies.
? Strong relational database knowledge and Open-Source software integration skills.
? Exceptional communication and documentation abilities.
?? What you'll be doing?
Work on large-scale deployments with cutting-edge tech.
Influence architectural decisions and drive innovation.
Collaborate with experts across academia, solution architects, and software developers.
Lead impactful projects with opportunities for thought leadership.
?? Requirements :
UK nationality with the ability to gain Security Clearance (SC) .
A proven track record of delivering secure, scalable software solutions in structured environments.
Experience in Artificial Intelligence and GPU architectures is a plus.
