Job Description

We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead product strategy and execution for Trust & Safety at Wise - focusing on protecting customers from scams, guiding them through high-risk actions, and ensuring a frictionless but secure experience.

In this role, you’ll work across Fraud Prevention, Risk, Compliance, Operations, Design and Marketing/PR  to build intelligent, proactive safeguards that keep customers safe without introducing unnecessary friction.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Protect customers from scams and unauthorised account access – Building proactive defenses that detect threats before they happen, while ensuring legitimate customers can transact without unnecessary friction.

  • Balance security with trust – Strengthen Wise’s reputation as the most trusted financial platform, ensuring that customers feel safe and confident using our services.

  • Define the future of Trust & Safety in finance – Wise has the opportunity to be a leading light in Trust & Safety, setting industry standards for how financial platforms protect customers while maintaining an intuitive experience.

  • Develop intelligent interventions – Create experiences that warn, guide, and protect customers at critical moments - whether it’s helping them recognise a scam, securing their account, or verifying their identity.

  • Leverage data, AI, and behavioral insights – Detect emerging fraud and scam patterns, using insights to refine real-time interventions and adapt risk-based protections.

  • Collaborate across Wise – Work with Fraud, Compliance, Risk, and Operations teams to build holistic solutions that don’t just stop bad actors but also enhance the overall customer experience.

  • Drive measurable impact – Ensure that our investments in Trust & Safety lead to reduced fraud and scams, higher customer confidence, and friction that only exists where truly necessary.

  • You’ll be empowered to do your best work by working with a full stack team including dedicated Analyst, Data Science, Engineering and Design functions.

✅ Experienced in Product Management – You’ve led product teams in Risk, Trust & Safety, Fraud, Payments, or Security and have a track record of shipping impactful solutions.
✅ Customer-Obsessed & Empathetic – You understand how scams and fraud affect real people and design with their needs in mind.
✅ Data-Driven & Strategic – You’re comfortable diving into quantitative and qualitative insights to drive decisions.
✅ Comfortable Navigating Complexity – You can balance risk, compliance, operations, and user experience to create best-in-class protections.
✅ A Strong Collaborator & Communicator – You work effectively across Engineering, Design, Operations, Compliance, and Risk teams to align on goals and deliver outcomes.
✅ Always Learning & Iterating – You’re eager to test, refine, and improve safety features based on real-world data and customer behavior.
