Senior Data Scientist

Trilateral Research is recruiting for aSenior Product Managerto join ourSocio-Tech for Goodteam. This role can be conducted remotely within the United Kingdom, although there is expected to be travel (especially in/around London) for events and project meetings.  

As part of this team, you will be responsible for owning, developing, and executing the product strategy to realise the vision for a product targeting the AI assurance market.

Key responsibilities to include but not limited to

Product Strategy, Product Roadmap  

  • Define and execute the product strategy, incorporating changes in the global AI regulatory landscape and advising Senior Management on courses of action.  

  • Develop, define, and execute the product roadmap to deliver against the product strategy.  

  • Manage product requirements, using agile principles, that enable the product team to deliver against the product roadmap. 

  • Collaborate with internal teams and work closely with the Engineering Manager to leverage Trilateral’s in-house expertise for ideation, validation, and consultation.  

 

Sales, Marketing, Customer Satisfaction 

  • Lead the provision of marketing and sales enablement inputs to the relevant teams.  

  • Drive customer research and gather market feedback to validate product-market fit, to inform the product strategy and roadmap.  

  • Drive customer satisfaction of the product through direct engagement (e.g., onboarding and training) and indirect engagement (e.g., product analytics and other feedback mechanisms).  

  • Define the product’s GTM and RTM strategies, including pricing strategies and models, in collaboration with the relevant internal teams.  

 

Innovation 

  • Manage the inputs, outputs, documentation, and decisions within the company’s Product Management Committee (PMC). 

  • Identify product discovery/experimentation needs to advance the product’s value and seek approvals via the PMC.  

  • Ensure that relevant sociotechnical considerations are incorporated into product planning and execution.  

  • Proactively collaborate with the product team/internal stakeholders to identify, capture, and pursue funding for a pipeline of future innovation areas. 

 

Product Management Function     

  • Drive the cultivation of best practices to help ensure a consistent company approach to product management.  

  • Collaborate with the Product team to incorporate feedback, to ensure continuous improvement is a priority to the product management function. 



Required education and experience

Essential:  

  • Bachelor's degree to support responsibilities (preferably in a business-related discipline). 

  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in product management within a SaaS environment.  

  • Experience applying agile principles, tools, and methods for software/product development. 

  • Experience influencing and executing strategies across the software development lifecycle, including discovery, development, and production.  

  • Experience leading pilot and evaluation efforts with prospective customers to inform product requirements, roadmap, and strategy.  

  • Experience prioritising and planning product goals to meet business objectives. 

  • Proven experience working in interdisciplinary product teams and communicating effectively with diverse stakeholders. 

 

Desirable:  

  • Experience of working with public sector clients.  

  • Certifications or accreditations in project management methodologies, e.g., APMP, PMQ, PRINCE2, PPM, CSM, Agile/Scrum.  

  • Leadership and/or people management experience. 

 

Professional knowledge and technical skills

Essential:  

  • Proven project and product management skills including product strategy definition, coordination, monitoring, user testing, prioritisation, and evaluation of product vision and roadmap.  

  • Working knowledge of business value propositions to support marketing and sales efforts within target markets.   

  • Demonstrable understanding of sociotechnical development and explainable AI.  

  • Proven expertise and knowledge in the RegTech or AI assurance industries (or closely related areas). 

  • Competent working with Microsoft applications (Office Suite, SharePoint) and project management software (Confluence, Jira etc.)    

  • Strong ability to navigate complexity, reduce uncertainty and chart a well-reasoned plan of action.  

 

Desirable:  

  • Demonstrable interest in/understanding of the sociotechnical implications of using data science and cloud platforms for delivering social good.

Essential: 

  • Target driven.   

  • Advanced English verbal and written communication skills.  

  • Advanced presentation and facilitation skills.  

  • Active listening skills with an ability to use emotional intelligence in a working environment.  

  • Effective time management skills, with the ability to manage a varied workload within strict deadlines.   

  • Proficient relationship management skills with an ability to build trust and guide internal and external stakeholders. 

  • Adaptable and willing/able to change project direction in line with business goals.

Location: This position is open to candidates based in the United Kingdom.  

Contract type:Permanent Employment Contract  

Start date: ASAP 

Salary: Commensurate with experience 

Hours: Full-time
