Purpose of Job

We are seeking an experienced technical knowledge professional to support our Presales team in the preparation, delivery of technical presentations, product demonstrations, and proposals. The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with customers to understand their technical requirements and providing effective solutions to meet their needs.

Main Responsibilities

As a Presales IT Consultant your responsibilities will be as follows:

Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer technical requirements and provide effective solutions. Develop and deliver technical presentations and demonstrations to showcase the features and capabilities of our software products. Design and create technical proposals and respond to tenders and proposals. Communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner. Act as a technical liaison between customers, sales, and development teams. Share knowledge and best practices with other members of the Presales team. Participating in industry events including presentations of pitch decks and value proposition to larger audiences. Responding to RFI’s/RFP’s while using your excellent communication skills to answer technical questions, in addition to clearly and persuasively articulating IRIS’s mission, product and business value. Sales enablement for all relevant sales teams through a mixture of live training sessions and pre-recorded e-learning courses. Ad-hoc duties as required to attend Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy meetings or Sales & Marketing Updates to represent Presales and Sales Enablement. Maintaining Showpad to ensure content is current and relevant.

2. Person specification

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other relevant fields. Cisco Certified Network Associate. Knowledge and skills related to network fundamentals, network access, IP connectivity, IP services, security fundamentals, automation, and programmability. Additionally, new topics such as generative AI, cloud network management, and machine learning.

Knowledge/Experience

3+ years of experience in software presales or a similar technical customer-facing role. Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to a range of audiences. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated experience in preparing and delivering technical presentations and demonstrations. Strong customer skills.
