Senior .NET Developer
Your Role
Our core platform services are critical to integrating the householder and installer experiences. Your role will include:
Understanding core heating system and physics concepts underpinning our modelling
The design, development and maintenance of our core platform services, including APIs, workflows and data pipelines
Supporting front end teams with integrating UI products with our APIs and services
Supporting product owners in refining requirements by providing technical insight
Supporting existing applications in production
Working with team members with peer review
RequirementsWhat we’re looking for
You will be strongly motivated by our mission to reduce household energy consumption and carbon emissions, and be curious about heating systems and energy technologies in general.
Communication and Interaction
Be an excellent communicator with strong spoken and written English skills
Have strong attention to detail
Demonstrate experience of working well within a hybrid/remote team
Technical
Demonstrate real world experience of designing, implementing and deploying .NET core solutions (Web API, MVC, etc) and be capable of delivering full stack solutions, including web interfaces for back office applications.
Demonstrate strong real world experience of application security best practices
Demonstrate strong real world experience of using OAuth/OpenId patterns for authentication and authorization for multiple use cases.
Have experience troubleshooting complex .NET solutions in production environments using a variety of techniques
Have broad familiarity with troubleshooting application infrastructure concepts such as DNS, networks or other connectivity issues
Have experience of azure infrastructure, topology and deployment
Be used to interacting with product owners to resolve design conflicts
Show a track record of learning new skills and technologies
Have a strong maths/physics or other science background equivalent to A level
Technologies/Skills
Required: C#, dotnet core, Entity Framework, Git/Github Workflow, Azure Application Deployment, OAuth2/OpenId, MSSQL
Desirable: Mass Transit, Docker, Content Management, Azure Infrastructure Management, Azure Functions, ARM/Terraform, JS, MySQL,
Bonus: Experience training/refining GPT models. Google Analytics Configuration

You’ll be well compensated for your work - there’s a £60,000-70,000 base salary range for this role depending on experience, with the potential for stock options.
