RE Partners is seeking an experienced Senior Data Modeller to join our team. You'll play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our client’s sophisticated data models and systems across various portfolio types in the financial sector.
Your Impact:
- Lead the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs
- Innovate data modelling methodologies for improved data management and analysis
- Enhance existing data models to improve accuracy, efficiency, and transparency
- Provide expert insights to key stakeholders, influencing strategic decisions on data architecture
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement data model improvements for complex, high-impact projects
- Design and maintain blueprints for lineage record tracing and logical data models
- Create conceptual, logical, and metadata solutions using JSON schema
- Monitor data quality and identify key areas for process simplification
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including business leads, operations, SMEs, and technologists
- Ensure data models align with applicable laws, rules, and regulations
To Be Successful You Will Need:
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in Data Architecture, Data Science, and/or Data Modelling
- Strong background in developing large complex data models and building complex IT systems
- Deep understanding of data management methodologies involving architecture, modelling, storage, and security
- Experience in Capital Markets/Banking domains
- Proficiency in relational modelling, UML modelling, and metadata management tools
- SQL knowledge and experience with modelling tools such as Magic Draw, Erwin, or Enterprise Architect
- Self-motivated with excellent project management and organisational skills
- Analytical prowess and innovative problem-solving abilities
Bonus Points:
- Financial Industry knowledge in commercial banking, capital and investment banking, and markets
- Familiarity with data governance principles and practices
- Certifications related to data management or financial systems
