Job Overview: We are currently seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Cypress Test Automation Engineer to play a pivotal role in our expanding team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of automated testing frameworks, particularly Cypress, along with a proven track record in ensuring the quality and reliability of software products. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design, development, and execution of automated test suites using Cypress for web applications. Collaborate closely with the QA team to identify testing requirements and develop comprehensive test plans and strategies. Contribute to the refinement of functional requirements, ensuring testability and automation feasibility. Drive continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies, integrating best practices and industry standards. Participate in code reviews, QA reviews, and design discussions to maintain high-quality development standards. Stay updated on emerging technologies and advancements in test automation to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in automated testing with a focus on Cypress, including test script development, execution, and maintenance. In-depth knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern web frameworks. Strong understanding of software development life cycle models, Agile methodologies, and CI/CD pipelines. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and issue tracking tools (e.g., JIRA). Familiarity with performance testing and security testing concepts is a plus. Excellent problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail. Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in cross-functional teams. Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to mentor junior team members and drive initiatives. Self-motivated and results-oriented, capable of working independently and managing multiple tasks. Passion for learning and staying updated on industry trends and advancements.
