PYTHON ENGINEER - BANKING - PERM

A well-known banking firm is looking to hire a Python Engineer with experience in Data and Cloud technologies.

You will collaborate with the Data Platforms Engineering team on advancing the Enterprise Data Lakehouse platform.

Requirements:

• Strong expertise in Python programming for data manipulation, automation, and tool development
• Must have experience with cloud platform Azure or AWS, including setting up and optimising data infrastructure
• Experience in functional and non-functional testing
• Proficiency in DevOps principles and tools for continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) to ensure efficient code and deployment management
• Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) to support data platform development
• Understanding of modern development practices - Agile
• Familiarity with modern data engineering stack tools, including Databricks, for building and managing data pipelines
