Our client, a leading global IT service provider,is recruiting for a Program Manager to join their business in the UK.

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Program Manager to organize and coordinate programs. You will provide strategic guidance to teams and project managers in ways that promote the company’s culture. You will also oversee the progress of operations.

 Key Responsibilities:

Formulate, organize and monitor inter-connected projects for large scale migration projects from legacy Data systems to Data Platform on AWS.

Decide on suitable strategies and objectives.

Coordinate cross-project activities.

Lead and evaluate project managers and other staff.

Develop and control deadlines, budgets and activities.

Apply change, risk and resource management.

Assume responsibility for the program’s people and vendors.

Assess program performance and aim to maximize ROI.

Resolve projects’ higher scope issues.

Prepare reports for program directors.

Requirements and skills

Proven experience as a Program Manager or other managerial position

Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods

Excellent Knowledge of performance evaluation and change management principles

Excellent knowledge of MS Office; working knowledge of program/project management software (Basecamp, MS Project etc.) is a strong advantage

Outstanding leadership and organizational skills

Excellent communication skills

Excellent problem-solving ability

 Must have:

Experience in Managing 2-3 large Data migration and transformation projects.

Experience in large scale Data and Analytics projects in Banking Domain.

Good to have: Experience in handling Data and Analytics Projects in Cloud.

 Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Data Science, or related field.

18+ years of experience in data architecture, with a strong focus on the banking sector and data and analytics.

In-depth knowledge of banking operations, regulations, and industry-specific data challenges.

Experience with big data technologies, machine learning, and AI.

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for automating deployments and scaling.

Strong understanding of data governance, data lineage, and data quality.

Banking domain experience is mandatory

English language fluent is required
