Fluence Digital’s IQ platform uses artificial intelligence, advanced price forecasting, portfolio optimization and market bidding to ensure energy storage and flexible generation assets are optimally participating in wholesale electricity markets.ABOUT THE POSITIONAbout the Role:Can you build a voice for a product or feature and create great content that builds excitement across a very targeted customer base? Are you able to work cross functionally, understand technical details, think strategically, and leverage your creative side? Do you want to be part of one of the largest transformations in history? If so, keep reading! As a Product Marketing Manager in the EMEA region, you will be responsible for our regional product positioning, messaging, and overall product content strategy. Translating our product features into regional differentiators will be critical. You will need to understand the technical aspects of our product and service offerings, how to identify the core elements of differentiation, and create material that tells a great story for our customers across the EMEA region. You will report to the Senior Marketing Manager EMEA and be a member of the regional Growth, Strategy and Marketing Team. While you will not have any direct reports when you start, you will be managing some external contractors and can take on more responsibility within a rapidly growing company. You should be able to work independently, but you will find that collaboration across several other groups in the organization such as product management, growth, sales, and services is key to achieving your goals.Responsibilities:Product Positioning & Messaging: Work closely with Fluence’s Product Management, Services, Sales, and Marketing teams to develop product and system level positioning, naming, and messaging that differentiates Fluence’s products and features from others in the market and creates a great story that resonates with various customer segments.Build competitive product intelligence capabilities and tools in partnership with our commercial team, to ensure differentiation across our core EMEA markets. Work closely with EMEA Growth team to ensure adaptation of competitive insights.Use data and insights gained from customer feedback and analytics to support product positioning and messagingSupport the key account management framework by creating a deep understanding of customers and customer needs through customer journey mapping and persona development.Content Creation:Create in-depth content such as spec sheets, website copy, sales collateral (brochure, PowerPoint, etc.), blog posts, storyboards for product animations and videos, and other material needed to explain complex product, services, and safety concepts. Work closely with and provide creative direction to graphic designers and other design professionals.Support the content needs for an array of regional marketing campaigns and customer experience initiatives.Acting as a brand guardian – ensuring all materials shared across the EMEA comply with the brand guidelinesCollaboration with the regional Graphic Designer and manage strategic and ad-hoc design requests.Training & Internal AlignmentCommunicate the value of the new products to the sales and other internal teams through product education and training.Support and provide feedback into the product roadmap process.Product LaunchImplementing new product and feature launches in the EMEA region and developing regional campaigns to support this, closely working with the global product marketing team.Core Skills & QualificationsMinimum of 5 years of experience as a Product Marketing Manager or equivalent experience in Energy technology products and services.Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in marketing, business, engineering, or related field. MBA, engineering, or similar master’s degree a plusProven ability to craft compelling stories and create interesting graphics across different channels and mediums. You can develop and execute an effective content strategy – both the strategy and the creative development.Ability to discover the essence of a product and why it matters. You can understand technical details and use your creativity to bring the ideas to life.Growth mindset and a proven ability to learn fast; comfort with evolving priorities and juggling multiple deliverables simultaneouslyGreat attention to detail, excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Product Marketing Manager Certification (PMMC) or Pragmatic Product Marketing is preferredHigh level of digital literacy across software platforms and the ability to learn new digital tools.
