Data Product Manager


Salary:Up to £75,000

Location:Mostly remote, with flexibility to go in the office once every month


This Data Product Manager role will be responsible for driving the development and successful adoption of data products, contributing to impactful business outcomes. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, business acumen, and strong communication skills to translate complex technical concepts into business terms.


Key responsibilities


● Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams of data scientists, analytics engineers and domain experts, to identify and understand requirements that will inform the data products roadmap

● Manage the lifecycle of data science, machine learning and analytical products, from ideation to successful delivery, ensuring the products meet or exceed the expected outcomes

● Prioritise and manage the data products backlog, working closely with the Data leadership team and business stakeholders to define objectives, key results, and relevant metrics to measure success

● Ensure data quality, compliance, and governance in all data products Skills and experience Essential skills:


Requirements:


● 3+ years of experience in a technical data role (preferably, with a data science background) and 2+ years of experience in data product management

● Strong analytical mindset and strong understanding of data science capabilities

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and agile environment, fostering a culture of experimentation

● Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams and business stakeholders
