Senior/Principal Developer (TypeScript, JavaScript, AWS) | £80-110k | Remote (Northern Ireland)

The Role:
As aSenior/Principal Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing robust, scalable applications across both frontend and backend systems. You will collaborate with various teams to implement and maintain infrastructure on AWS, optimize APIs, and ensure seamless user experiences. This position requires strong technical expertise and the ability to lead on complex projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain scalable fullstack applications usingTypeScriptandJavaScript.
- Build and optimizeRESTful APIsand backend services to handle large-scale data.
- Architect and maintain infrastructure onAWSusing services likeLambda, EC2, S3,andDynamoDB.
- Collaborate with frontend teams to deliver high-quality user experiences.
- Participate in code reviews and troubleshoot complex issues to deliver high-performing solutions.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience infullstack development.
- Proficient inTypeScriptandJavaScript, with experience in modern frontend frameworks likeReactorVue.js.
- Strong experience withNode.jsfor backend services.
- Expertise inAWSenvironments and infrastructure management.
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools likeTerraformorCloudFormation.
- Experience withCI/CD pipelinesand automated testing frameworks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity withmachine learningordata-driven platforms.
- Experience withserverless architecturesand microservices.
