About the Opportunity

Contentful is a content management system (CMS) that enables enterprises to publish content across multiple channels with speed and agility. Our platform provides developers and content creators with the tools to manage and deliver engaging and impactful digital experiences, from websites and mobile apps to smart devices and digital signage.

We are seeking an experienced Principal Product Manager to join our team and help us explore new opportunities within our Digital Team OS product line. You will play a crucial role in designing scalable platform primitives and infrastructure to help customers transform content and experiences with AI. 

As a key member of our product team, you will be responsible for identifying new product opportunities, defining product strategy, and leading the product development process from ideation to launch and growth. This high-impact role will require you to lead large, cross-functional projects and exercise decision-making power to solve valuable problems for our customers.

What to expect? 

Define AI platform product strategy and roadmap to help customers transform content and experiences with scalable and extensible platform capabilities. Define and track key product metrics and KPIs to measure product success Lead product discovery and proactively engage with customers to uncover insights into their needs. Develop a deep understanding of their content systems, foster relationships and collaborative design & innovation. Drive the product development process with clear product requirements and rapid iterations Partner closely with engineers and AI infrastructure partners in technical research and build APIs, services, and complex systems at scale.  Engage with pricing, marketing, legal teams to ensure products meet security, legal standards as well as has successful go to market Communicate product status, progress, and risks to stakeholders and senior leadership for a high-visibility project spanning multiple product lines.

What you need to be successful

5+ years of experience in product management, with experience in building B2B products for enterprises  API and platform mindset, previous experience working on platform capabilities, creating scalable and extensible solutions. A strong understanding of AI and machine learning concepts, ideally with experience building AI capabilities at scale using platform services. Preferably, with knowledge of best practices and common pitfalls in enterprise adoption. Entrepreneurial and 0 to 1 thinking. Passion for working in environments with high uncertainty, navigating new, uncharted territories Strong product management skills, including product strategy, prioritization, customer discovery, and bias for action Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and across product lines building alignment on strategy and execution
