Overview

Seeking a Principal Data Architect - this is an opportunity to join a highly reputable digital solution provider known for their expertise in designing breakthrough software solutions for business' across various industry sectors including defence and security, energy and utilities, financial services, government and public services, health and life sciences, and transport.

This role sits within their Data Science Team within Financial Services - experience in this domain is essential.

Role requirements

• Knowledge of data architecture patterns and technologies such as data lake, relational data stores, graph databases, operational data stores
• Must be comfortable across all aspects of data, analytics and AI, including data/AI strategy, governance, management, architecture and systems implementation
• Must have worked extensively in financial services organisations with experience of both transforming data management operating models and implementing data systems across the full project and information lifecycle and the artefacts and views that capture and communicate needs and designs at each stage
• Ability to design and deliver data architecture solutions against client / stakeholder needs and aligned with governance and target operating model.
• Experience in key data-centric topics such as AI, GenAI, MLOps, Business Intelligence, Analytics, Master Data Management, Metadata Management, Data Governance, Data Mesh / Marketplace, Data Products
