Your opportunity
- To function as the primary Power BI and data developer on the Risk and Compliance Technology team
- Quickly analyze complex data patterns in order to establish technical solutions to resolve data issues.
- Research data issues associated with reports and source data accuracy.
- Demonstrate the ability to optimize dashboards with large/multiple data sources.
- Develop and maintain reports, report schedules, dashboards, publishing, and user administration.
- Seek innovative solutions to business problems
- Develop technical approach to artificial intelligence to solve business problems
- Partner with any applicable 3rd parties to integrate applicable data and infastrcuture
- Participate in the full lifecycle of development including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deploying, maintaining, and providing end user support.
- Work with IT, data stewards and internal business groups to develop effective reporting to provide insights to improve decision-making.
- Transform raw data into meaningful insights and deliver reporting and analytical solutions to stakeholders across the JHI organization.
- Comfortable working with a variety of teams and be able to communicate succinctly with technical and non-technical departments.
- Development driven test automation
- Leverage and extend existing Business Intelligence and analytics infrastructure to meet business needs.
- Carry out other duties as assigned.

Must have skills
- Report/dashboard design and development utilizing Microsoft BI stack tools.
- Strong SQL skills required, including custom SQL query.
- Strong skills in data analysis,dimensional data modeling methodologies and dashboard development required.
- Solid understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and version control disciplines
- Designing visualizations as per business requirements and knowledge on User interface and User experience
- Understanding of AI concepts and solutions
- Shift left concepts for test automation
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with both technical and non-technical parts of the organization
Nice to have skills
- Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud platform, Databricks and Snowflake
- Risk and Compliance data management experience within the financial services sector
- Prior experience in doing demo to the IT and Business users on self-service BI platform.
- Learning mindset with the ambition to grow in the role by developing industry and data knowledge as well as technical skills
