JobSummary:

ThePower BI Developerwill be responsible fordesigning developing and deploying business intelligence solutionsusing Microsoft Power BI. This role involves collaborating withstakeholders to understand their requirements developing datamodels creating interactive reports and dashboards and ensuringdata accuracy and consistency.
KeyResponsibilities:
**Report and DashboardDevelopment:**
Designand develop interactive reports and dashboards using PowerBI. Translate business requirements intotechnical specifications and data models. Create visually appealing and userfriendly datavisualizations.
**DataModeling:**
Develop andoptimize data models to support reporting and analytics. Ensure data accuracy consistency and integrity acrossall reports and dashboards. Implement datatransformations using Power Query (M language) and DAX (DataAnalysis Expressions).
**Collaboration and Requirements Gathering:**
Work closely with business stakeholders tounderstand their reporting and analytics needs. Conduct requirements gathering sessions and documentspecifications. Provide training and supportto endusers on how to use Power BI reports anddashboards.
**DataIntegration:**
Integrate data from various sources including databases cloudservices and APIs. Develop and maintain datapipelines and ETL processes to load data into Power BI. Ensure data is updated regularly andaccurately.
**Performance Tuning:**
Optimize Power BI reports and dashboards for performance andscalability. Monitor and troubleshootperformance issues. Implement best practicesfor data visualization and report development.
**Security andCompliance:**
Implementand maintain data security and access controls within PowerBI. Ensure compliance with data governanceand privacy policies.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer ScienceInformation Technology Data Science or a related field. Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or in asimilar role. Proficiency in Power BIincluding Power Query DAX and Power BI Service. Strong understanding of data modeling data warehousingand ETL processes. Experience with SQL anddatabase management. Excellent analytical andproblemsolving skills. Strong communicationand interpersonal skills. Ability to workindependently and as part of a team. Microsoft Power BI certification is a plus.
