We are looking for a People Assistant on a 12 month fixed term basis to join us at Satalia, a VML Enterprise Solutions Company.
The opportunity:
You will be part of the UK People Team within Satalia, reporting into the People Operations Manager within VML Enterprise Solutions supporting a headcount of approx. 150 Satalia employees across the UK, Lithuania, Greece & Austria . Your primary role will be acting as the first point of contact for employees, providing guidance on company policies and procedures, supporting the People Operations Team and the People Partner with exciting people projects and initiatives.
What you’ll be doing:
People Responsibilities
- Provide accurate and timely information to employees and managers managing expectations along the way and responding within the agreed SLAs.
- Understanding of our people operation processes and how they fit with Satalia and our partner businesses such as VML Enterprise Solutions
- Seek for delivery improvement opportunities in collaboration with People Partners, People Operations and Talent to ensure we provide the best employee experience.
- Undertake or contribute to people projects and initiatives as and when required.
- Regularly collaborate with our People team and other stakeholders within the business to provide administrative support and advice.
General administration
- Main point of contact for all employee queries on benefits, absence, family friendly policies, probation
- Process joiners, movers and leavers on HiBoB
- Generate documentation during the employee life cycle
- Carry out the weekly People Inductions for new joiners
People Analytics
- Conduct one month check ins, midpoint probation check ins, and exit interviews, updating the People Partner with relevant feedback to support them with providing constructive feedback to the necessary key stakeholders involved.
- Utilise People Metrics and data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Policy & Compliance
- Stay up to date on UK employment laws and regulations, ensuring compliance with UK local requirements.
- Assist in the development and implementation of People Policies, procedures and initiatives to ensure compliance with legal requirements and best practices, including communicating policy changes and updates to employees.
- Act as the initial point of contact for our people, providing guidance on company policies and procedures. As well as work with the People Partner to address and resolve issues and conflicts.

- Working knowledge of HR database systems and Google sheets
- Good understanding of HR processes and functions
- Basic knowledge on UK employment law, regulations, and processes with willingness to learn
