Paid Media Specialist

Salary: £30k base + new business incentives

Location: Remote but UK-based – we meet up a few times a year for fun and encourage attending client events!

Start: January 2025

Contract type:Permanent, full time

About The Ticket Crowd

We’re The Ticket Crowd – an award-winning marketing agency that lives and breathes live events.

In November 2024, we were crowned a Great British Entrepreneur Winner for our commitment to the events industry, and we’ve sold over £8m worth of tickets this year alone.

We only work with events, festivals and entertainment businesses from nationwide musical theatre tours in Australia, 40,000 capacity music festivals to 100,000 person shows.

Born in Bristol in 2022, we’ve grown into a small but mighty team with team members based in Bristol and Manchester. We’re on a mission to help the live events industry thrive, build an inspiring remote work culture, and break barriers for women in the events world.

With travel and tickets to some of the UK’s best festivals included, you’ll be part of a team that knows how to work and play.

About You

Do you:

Dream of dancing under the stars at festivals?

Get a little too excited about ROAS, CTRs, and CPCs?

Love dreaming up ad strategies as much as you love an après-ski party?

We’re looking for someone who’s as passionate about live events as they are about paid media.

You’ll need to be a whizz at Google Ads, Meta, and TikTok, and thrive in a fast-paced, creative environment.

The Role

As our Paid Media Specialist, you’ll:

  • Take the lead on paid ad campaigns across Google, Meta, and TikTok.
  • Be the main key account manager for your client campaigns by providing updates to clients through Slack and/or email and assisting with client requests / questions
  • Plan, optimise, and report on campaigns that smash client goals.
  • Dream up scroll-stopping ad strategies that fill venues and pack dance floors.
  • Lead bi-weekly client calls to share performance updates and ideas. (Must be comfortable talking with and presenting to clients)
  • Craft killer campaign hooks and creative briefs.
  • Work closely with the team to ensure every campaign delivers results that wow our clients.
  • Love data. Data all day long.

This is more than just a role – it’s a chance to shape how we market some of the UK’s most exciting events.

What You’ll Bring

  • 2+ years of experience (minimum) in Google Ads, Meta Ads, and TikTok Ads.
  • A proven track record of driving results (and strong ROAS) through paid media.
  • A strong understanding of these platforms, best practices and campaign optimisations.
  • Understanding of how to set up and implement tracking.
  • A knack for crafting ad copy that converts.
  • Analytical skills that would make a data scientist jealous.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple campaigns at once.
  • Ability to create strong team and client relationships
  • Great organisation when it to managing project timelines internally and externally, including task management as needed. We use Monday.com as a project management tool.
  • A positive, can-do attitude and enjoy chatting about weird random things (bonus points if you’ve got a killer festival playlist).

Why You’ll Love It Here

At The Ticket Crowd, we’re building a remote work culture we’re genuinely proud of.

Here’s what you can expect:

  • Fully remote: Work wherever you want in the UK (Reef workplace subscription paid for if you’d like it)
  • Quarterly meetups: At least three times a year, we’ll get together for fun, social gatherings (think team bonding, great food, and maybe karaoke if we can get Mike onboard with the idea). Travel and hotel expenses covered if it’s not in your city.
  • Client events: You’ll attend three client events a year (because experiencing the magic is part of the job). Travel and tickets covered.
  • Birthday off: Because no one should work on their birthday.
  • 25 days’ holiday + bank holidays (above average)
  • Life admin day: A quarterly paid day off for all the boring stuff (dentist appointments, MOTs – you name it).
  • New business incentives: Earn more when intro new biz
  • Support and training: We’re invested in helping you level up your skills.
  • An award-winning team: You’ll join a group of event-obsessed, ad-savvy pros who are committed to making a difference in the live events industry.
