Who we are:

Hurdle (a Chronomics brand) is building the infrastructure that simplifies and accelerates access to biology for companies and consumers. Our API first, modular platform combines world class expertise in biology, healthcare, technology and AI to make biological data accessible to as many people as possible to improve future health outcomes. We work with leading healthcare partners to deliver healthcare that has a real world impact on people's lives such as being able to measure their true biological age or take a blood test to monitor their heart health.

We are a remote-first company with employees working from various places in the UK , Ireland , Spain and Serbia . Founded by scientists from the world’s leading research universities, we have brought together an expert team across science, technology, business and operations.

We’re trusted by industry leaders like Bayer and Numan though we’re not stopping here.

You will join a product squad, building out new features that add real customer value as well as maintaining the current platform. With the small team size you will be given lots of autonomy and the chance to make a real impact. We don't expect you to know everything, but a drive to learn, take ownership and learn from your mistakes is key.

  • Experience moving fast with Agile.

  • How, why and when to test correctly
  • Know how to profile, troubleshoot, debug, maintain, and improve existing software.
  • Experience working with and building public/internal APIs.
  • Have the ability to work in a changing environment.
  • Have the ability to create rapid prototypes and understand how these differ from production level code.
  • Good knowledge of at least one database (SQL, NoSql, etc.)
  • Have the ability to communicate with all level stakeholders.

☄️ Nice to have:

  • Experience in another language (PHP or Python).
  • Microservices experience.
  • Interest in biology and health.

What you can expect from us:

  • Unlimited holidays
  • Fully remote work with freedom to run
