Are you a talented Marketing Data Scientist looking for an exciting opportunity in the thriving tech industry? Our client, a leading organisation in the tech sector, is seeking a motivated and skilled individual to join their EMEA Marketing team as a Marketing Data Scientist.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the workload of a large project or multiple projects to maximise impact and refine timelines in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Exercise sound judgement in weighing input against anticipated impact and adapt to changes as needed.
- Identify issues for defined problems, navigate unexpected complexity, and propose analytical and technical solutions.
- Effectively frame and escalate issues to be addressed by managers and stakeholders.
- Serve as a trusted partner within the team and with cross-functional teams, providing guidance and managing relationships with partners, agencies, or TVCs.
- Contribute to shared team responsibilities and the broader analyst community, such as conducting interviews or presenting analysis findings.
- Utilise expertise in data extraction and manipulation, dashboarding/visualisation, statistical analysis, predictive modelling, and research techniques to drive insights and solutions.
- Develop strategies to drive incremental growth by addressing complex business challenges and collaborating with stakeholders across various functions.
- Conduct market research and data analysis to influence business decisions, optimise performance, and deliver best-in-class execution.
- Champion an inclusive culture, creating a supportive environment, role-modelling inclusive behaviour, and driving diversity change initiatives.
- Provide ad-hoc research and data analysis support to senior leaders for specific data requests.
Skills/Experience/Education:
- Strong knowledge of business operations and driving efficiency and effectiveness within organisations.
- Excellent consultative skills to understand stakeholder needs and provide tailored analysis and recommendations.
- Proficiency in dashboarding to link, report, and analyse metrics based on available data.
- Ability to convert real-world business problems into trackable metrics and generate meaningful insights from data analysis.
- Familiarity with experimental design principles and best practises.
- Good understanding of the tech industry landscape, including key players and technology trends.
- Experience in marketing analysis and applying analytical methods to generate actionable insights.
- Project management skills and ability to plan and execute projects effectively.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis methods to evaluate data adequacy and draw inferences.
- Strong storytelling and presentation skills to communicate data-driven insights in an engaging manner.
- Technical acumen and eagerness to learn and apply statistical and mathematical concepts.
