THE ROLE


As a Marketing Data Analyst, you will be responsible for utilizing our own analytical models and software to analyse organizations' marketing skills and alignment. You will provide actionable insights to drive our clients' Partner marketing strategy and agency service offerings. You will work closely with the client's operational team to evaluate Partner and campaign performance, identify trends, and recommend improvements.

 

Responsibilities:

• Analyse clients' Partner marketing environments and campaign performance across all Partners to assess their effectiveness and ROI according to a schedule

• Develop and optimise data storage, access and retrieval

• Use analytical methods including machine learning, Python or R for data analysis, exploration, and to build predictive models

• Create and maintain dashboards to visualise key Partner marketing metrics and performance indicators

• Identify trends and insights from data to recommend and implement improvements in marketing strategies

• Collaborate with the operational team to communicate findings and recommendations at all levels internally and externally

• Utilise your strong background in maths and statistics to conduct rigorous data analysis and ensure the accuracy of insights and recommendations

• Adapt to new technologies and tools to improve data collection, analysis, and reporting processes

• Maintain our client instances of our Partner CRM for data accuracy and reporting

 

Requirements:

• Advanced Data Skills: Demonstrated skill in data analytics and managing large datasets. PowerBI skills to build and maintain dashboards as needed

• Strong communication skills at all levels of internal and external stakeholders, comfortable and confident with complex data topics as well as marketing topics

• Problem-solving and Adaptability: Exceptional problem-solving abilities to navigate complex challenges, coupled with the adaptability to learn and implement new technologies and tools as needed

• Nice to have: Practical experience with API integrations and connecting systems, proficiency in Python for script writing, task automation, and improving integration processes.

 

Other qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field

• Proven experience as a Marketing Analyst or similar role

• Strong analytical skills with a background in math and statistics

• Proficient in SQL, Python/R, and data visualisation tools

• Experience with marketing channels and CRM tools

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data insights in a clear and actionable manner

• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
