These five shared values lead every decision we make and action we take, guiding us to deliver impact how and where it matters most .

Connect to your opportunity

Take your career to the next level by joining one of the world's best and most recognised professional services firms.

We are seeking to hire experienced AI Architects in the Engineering, AI and Data offering within Technology & Transformation.

You will have the opportunity to work with a huge variety of interesting, international, and world-leading clients who are navigating an evolving marketplace where Generative AI is taking artificial intelligence to a new level. This technology has the potential to transform businesses by creating higher-order opportunities such as new services, business models, and improved productivity across the value chain.

As an AI Architect, you will solve our clients' most challenging business problems by applying Generative AI and other ML techniques to design, implement and operate robust and cutting-edge solutions.

By joining Deloitte, you will have access to the best training and learning opportunities, allowing you to develop new skills and hone existing ones. You will be working in fast-paced teams with other highly talented, fun and motivated colleagues. We also encourage consideration of flexible ways of working, both formal and informal arrangements that allow for the best outcomes for our people and our clients. If this opportunity is of interest to you, please do discuss with us.

Your Role

As an AI Architect, your role will be to develop the AI architecture strategy, supporting our clients to design, implement and operate scalable architectures that support the effective deployment of AI models. You will play a critical role in designing and delivering innovative architectures that seamlessly integrate AI solutions with existing enterprise systems.

You are an exceptional communicator, able to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders with ease. You have a strong ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team environment, leveraging the strengths of others to achieve common goals. You are outcome focused and have a desire to be pragmatic in your approach to designing and delivering high-quality solutions that meet or exceed client expectations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Translate the vision of senior client stakeholders and senior Deloitte architects into the AI/ML/GenAI architectural strategy and implementation roadmap, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and digital transformation efforts.
  • Collaborate with Enterprise, Application, Data & DevOps Architects, Data scientists, MLOps & GenAI Engineers, and Business teams to pilot use cases and discuss architectural design.
  • Select appropriate technologies from a pool of open-source and commercial offerings, considering deployment models and integration with existing tools.
  • Support the successful execution and operational improvement of AI-powered applications using agile methodology.
  • Work closely with security and risk leaders to foresee and mitigate risks, ensuring ethical AI implementation and compliance with upcoming regulations.
  • Assist project teams with technical review boards and design authority approvals, ensuring compliance with data privacy, security and regulatory requirements in AI solution design and implementation.
  • Develop and maintain contact with client stakeholders and contribute to proposal development.
  • Manage diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution.
  • Develop the capability of junior team members through 'on the job' training and formal development programmes.

At Deloitte we believe the best impact is the value we add, not the hours we sit at our desk. We carefully consider agile ways of working, both formal and informal, that allow for the best impact for our people and our clients. Please speak to your recruiter about the working pattern that works best for you.
