After successfully raising an oversubscribed Series A investment round, our team is now growing. We are seeking a talented Sales Development Representative who is eager to contribute to building a sustainable future. You will be the first SDR at Qflow and have the autonomy to shape our new function.

Your team and your role

We’re looking for talent individual with a commercial mindset who will be responsible for identifying and engaging with potential clients in the construction sector, qualifying leads, and contributing to the ongoing growth of our sales pipeline. You will partner with our Business Development Managers in developing and implementing Qflow’s new business strategies, you will help to drive on going revenue growth and market share. This role will involve not only prospecting but also helping to establish processes and best practices for sales development.

You’ll be working in our Commercial team, collaborating closely with Business Development, Senior Account Executives, Customer Success, Business Solutions and Marketing teams and reporting to the Growth Director. Your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:

Lead Generation

  • Identify and research construction companies and decision-makers (e.g., contractors, project managers, architects) that align with our Ideal Customer Profile.
  • Use outbound channels (cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn, etc.) to engage prospects and generate interest.

Lead Qualification

  • Conduct initial discovery calls to understand client needs and qualify leads based on predefined criteria.
  • Gather relevant information to ensure smooth handover to the Business Development team,

Create & Refine Outreach Processes

  • Establish repeatable workflows for prospecting and qualifying leads.
  • Craft and optimise messaging sequences tailored to the construction industry.
  • Track what works (and what doesn’t) to build a scalable outbound sales playbook.

CRM Management

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all prospecting and outreach activity in the CRM system.
  • Track and report on KPIs, including outreach volume, lead conversions, and pipeline contribution.
  • Build dashboards, workflows, automation and reports to deliver a robust and reliable record-set for the Commercial Team to work from

Cross team collaboration

  • Work with Sales, Marketing and Customer Success to create and distribute valuable content that will help to accelerate sales and increase customer retention and value.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure Qflow’s product offering meets customer needs & expectations.

Industry Expertise

  • Develop a strong understanding of the construction industry, including key trends, challenges, and stakeholders.
  • Stay informed on competitors and market conditions to tailor messaging effectively.

Willingness to travel for customer meetings and events as required.


Your skills

  • Previous experience in sales or lead generation, preferably in B2B SaaS or the construction industry.
  • Growth mindset, hunger and curiosity with the ability to identify and capitalise on opportunities for growth - critical for identifying great leads.
  • Strong discovery / consulting skills - early pipeline qualification focus is on understanding the customers pain and exploring if/how Qflow can address it.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills - closing contracts often requires the ability to navigate multi-stakeholder relationships.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication and interpersonal skills - the ability to build and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders will accelerate your sales velocity and win rate.
  • Strong up-to-date CRM proficiency (preferably HubSpot) with the ability to deliver an excellent best practice standard for the business overall

Basic salary of up to £40,000 (depending on experience) with uncapped OTE
