Job Details Salary: Competitive Hours: Full Time Location: Hybrid working -The VHQ Crawley Contract: Permanent Closing Date: 25th September 2024 In a nutshell Are you ready to lead the charge in turning data into actionable insights at Virgin Atlantic? As the Manager - Advanced Analytics & Insight, you will develop and implement analytical strategies that align with business objectives, collaborating closely with the Senior Manager - Advanced Analytics & Insight to ensure our data-driven initiatives are on course for success. In this key role, you will apply advanced statistical techniques to analyse data, generate insights, and ensure the use of the most effective tools and methodologies for various types of analysis. Your expertise will guide analysts across directorates, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing that elevates our analytical capabilities. You will also work closely with technology and data engineering teams to ensure seamless data extraction and analysis, integrating new tools and systems as needed to keep our analytics on the cutting edge. Leading advanced analytical projects, you will present findings and recommendations that inform critical decisions, while also monitoring progress and providing ongoing training to enhance the skills of the directorate-specific analysts. Day to day Support the development of the company's analytics strategy and lead the implementation of advanced analytics projects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and analyse business requirements. Develop and manage a team of analysts to deliver actionable insights and recommendations within each project. Drive the development and enhancement of data models, algorithms, and statistical techniques. Facilitate the seamless completion of analytics projects while offering guidance on effective approaches. Compete in the market by staying up to date with the latest advancements in analytics technologies and applied methodologies. About you Proven track record of successfully leading and implementing data analytics projects and driving business outcomes. Strong experience in data analytics, including data manipulation, visualisation, and statistical analysis. Exceptional leadership and communication skills to effectively collaborate with individuals at all levels of the organisation. Strict attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field, such as Information Technology, Data Science or Mathematics.
