La Fosse have partnered with a cutting-edge Bio-Tech AI Start-up, who are currently hiring for a Machine Learning Engineer to join their growing team.

Their mission is to develop ground-breaking AI models that leverage microscopy data and genomics to drive transformative discoveries. As the Lead Machine Learning Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the ML team for creating and implementing the computer vision and other machine learning models for cell prediction.

You will also play a crucial role in the planning and development of the machine learning infrastructure, while coordinating with the biology team. You will have strong experience as a Machine Learning Engineer in computer vision models and how to use current MLE frameworks for deploying these.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer.
• Ideally experience working in a top tier tech or AI-bio company, with a focus on taking models from concept to production.
• Previous experience taking the technical lead of a team of ML engineers.
• Strong background in computer vision ML models and using modern frameworks for deploying these models.
• Proficient in Python, and familiar with deep learning frameworks like PyTorch (required) and TensorFlow.
• Skilled in using cloud services (GCP, AWS or Azure)
