Lead Data Scientist - LLMs - Remote

In this role, you'll lead cross-functional data science projects from concept to delivery, working on a range of challenges-from machine learning and GenAI to speech-to-text applications. You'll play a key role in transforming complex data into clear insights that inform decisions and create measurable business outcomes.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead and manage end-to-end data science projects, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery.
  • Develop and deploy machine learning solutions using Python, including applications in natural language processing (NLP) and speech-to-text technologies.
  • Translate analytical results into business-relevant insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Mentor junior analysts and data scientists, providing technical guidance and supporting professional development.
  • Collaborate closely with data engineering, product, and business teams to integrate data science solutions into core workflows.
  • Contribute to business development by supporting proposals, client engagements, and solution design.
  • Help shape the strategic direction of the data science function, including planning and prioritization.

What You Bring:

  • Strong experience delivering full-lifecycle data science projects in production environments.
  • Proficiency in Python and data science libraries, with a focus on writing clean, maintainable code.
  • Hands-on expertise with speech-to-text systems, including model selection, audio data processing, transcription accuracy, and integration into business applications.
  • Experience working with NLP and GenAI/LLMs, including prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and evaluation.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to business stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple projects and leading teams in fast-paced environments.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth deployment of solutions.
