WHO ARE WE?
We are recruiting a Lead Big Data Engineer to work with an industry-leading cyber/National Security/defence client with office locations in and around London. The expertise of our engineers drives us forward, and we're looking for talented individuals eager to learn and grow to join us. Due to the nature of these clients, you must hold Enhanced DV Security Clearance to work on National Security projects.
WE NEED THE LEAD BIG DATA ENGINEER TO HAVE….
Enhanced DV Security Clearance.
In depth knowledge of Linux internals and system administration.
Experience with scripting languages (eg. Python, Bash or similar).
Troubleshooting expertise, with the ability to diagnose complex technical issues.
Integration testing experience.
Understanding of TCP/ IP and OSI Models.
Hands-on experience with data pipeline tools (eg. NiFi and Airflow).
Past experience designing scalable data systems with a focus on security and GDPR compliance.
Hybrid cloud experience with on-premise and AWS cloud environments.
Knowledge of data science, ML and AI tools (eg. Jupyter, Spacy, Transformers).
Experience with big data NoSQL engines/platforms such as Hive, Impala, and Elasticsearch.
Experience with business intelligence and visualization tools like Tableau, Kibana, and PowerBI.
Collaboration skills.
