Role: Junior Data Scientist Location: London, UK(Hybrid) Salary: £30k-£45k (DOE) Are you passionate about data andfinance? Myclient is looking for a Junior Data Scientist eager to apply theiranalytical and modeling skills to provide insight and driveimpactful business decisions. Your Responsibilities: Analysecomplex datasets : Work with large volumes of financial data toidentify trends, patterns, and insights that drive strategicdecisions. Support predictive modeling : Collaborate on thedevelopment of machine learning models to forecast financialoutcomes and optimise business processes. Develop data-drivensolutions : Create algorithms and tools that automate and enhancedecision-making across the company. Collaborate withcross-functional teams : Work closely with finance, product, andtechnology teams to align data science initiatives with businessgoals. Visualise data insights : Build and maintain interactivedashboards and visualisations that provide clear, actionableinsights for stakeholders. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in aSTEM field : Preferred disciplines include Statistics, Mathematics,Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields. Proficiency inprogramming languages : Experience with Python and SQL for dataanalysis, manipulation, and modeling. Basic understanding ofmachine learning : Familiarity with predictive modeling techniquesand algorithms, in particular NLP , LLMs and Time SeriesForecasting. Experience with data visualization tools : Knowledgeof tools like Tableau/Power BI , or similar to present dataeffectively. Strong analytical skills : Ability to interpretcomplex data and communicate findings clearly to both technical andnon-technical audiences. Its A Bonus If You Have: Experience infinance : Prior exposure to financial data or working in afinancial services environment is a plus.
