Would you like to work in an innovative team on the further development and optimization of our content- and user-based recommendation algorithms? Do you want to continuously develop them by trying out new ideas and testing hypotheses?

• You will develop new deep learning architectures, train new models and put them into productive operation
• You design and implement robust data pipelines to support recommendation systems
• You analyze data to continuously improve existing recommender models
• You develop scalable microservices
• You scale and optimize the infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance
• You collect and analyze feedback data and report the results to relevant stakeholders
• You design technical implementations for new requirements and define interfaces
• You share new concepts and ideas in the team to promote innovation

• You have a degree in IT or data-related subjects, e.g. computer science, data science, mathematics, statistics or a comparable qualification
• Initial professional experience as a data engineer and/or data scientist is an advantage
• You have a broad basic knowledge of data engineering, data analysis, modeling and multi-armed bandits
• You have very good knowledge in the application of recommendation engines, collaborative filtering and graph systems as well as in machine learning
• You have a sound knowledge of database systems and tools as well as programming languages, e.g. Python, Java, GSQL
• You are familiar with agile product development methods (Kanban, Scrum)
• You are fluent in German and English
