ITSupportEngineer

As an IT SupportEngineer you will be the primary point of contact for resolvingITrelated issues within a hybrid working environment. Yourexpertise will ensure minimal downtime and enhance productivity forour users. This role involves a balance of technicaltroubleshooting user support and collaboration acrossteams.

Objectives& Responsibilities:

Rovco is anexciting and dynamic environment meaning these are likely to changeas we grow. Upon joining your objectives and responsibilities willinclude:

• Respond to userinquiries via phone email or ticketingsystem.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardwaresoftware and network issues.
• Assist users withlogin problems password resets and accountsetups.

• Log track andescalate issues using our ticketingsystem.
• Prioritize incidents based on severityand impact on businessoperations.

• Installconfigure and maintain desktops laptops printers andperipherals.
• Manage software applications viaMDM and RMMtools.

• Troubleshoot networkconnectivity for wired and wirelessconnections.
• Set up and configure routersswitches andfirewalls.

• Maintainaccurate records of support requests andresolutions.
• Create and update knowledge basearticles.

• Providetraining on IT systems andapplications.
• Promote IT security and dataprotection bestpractices.

• Work with ITteam members to resolve complexissues.
• Communicate with endusers to gathernecessary information for issueresolution.

• Provenexperience as a 1st/2nd Line Support Technician or similarrole.
• Knowledge of Windows device managementand Active Directory.
• Familiarity withMicrosoft Office Suite and common businessapplications.
• Basic understanding of networkingconcepts (TCP/IP DNS DHCP).
• Excellentproblemsolving and communicationskills.
• Customeroriented with a patient andpositive attitude.
• Willingness to travel forvessel mobilization as needed.
• Ability to workindependently.
