About us… Thames Reach runs projects andservices that help to end homelessness in London. We work directlywith homeless people on the streets and in hostels. We work toprevent vulnerable people from becoming homeless. We help formerlyhomeless people get their lives back on track. We help people findwork and access training and volunteering opportunities. About this role… You will be: -Advising and supporting employees and managers in People matterswhich includes, recruitment, employment checks, contracts ofemployment and variations of contract, and related policies andprocedures. - Carrying out pre-employment checks, includingdrafting and issuing letters and contracts. - Managing andprocessing the monthly payroll information which is administered byan external agency. - Providing timely and accurate information,reports, and analysis and responsible for contributing to theregular review of the effectiveness of systems, processes, andpractices. - Achieving, monitoring, and contributing to the reviewof the People workplan and performance indicators. - Working on arange of People initiatives and projects. You will have: -Experience working in a HR role with substantial administrativeduties. - Excellent organisation and planning skills whilst meetingtight deadlines. - Excellent written and verbal communicationskills that is clear, coherent, and appropriate with attention todetail. - Excellent IT skills including HRIS systems, updatingsystems to ensure effective reporting and user accessibility. -Good at developing and maintaining good and effective workingrelationships. - Have an interest in homelessness and a desire tosupport us to have a positive impact on the lives of homelesspeople.
