About this role... You will be: Advising and supporting employees and managers in People matters which includes, recruitment, employment checks, contracts of employment and variations of contract, and related policies and procedures.Carrying out pre-employment checks, including drafting and issuing letters and contracts.Managing and processing the monthly payroll information which is administered by an external agency.Providing timely and accurate information, reports, and analysis and responsible for contributing to the regular review of the effectiveness of systems, processes, and practices.Achieving, monitoring, and contributing to the review of the People workplan and performance indicators.Working on a range of People initiatives and projects. You will have: Experience working in a HR role with substantial administrative duties.Excellent organisation and planning skills whilst meeting tight deadlines.Excellent written and verbal communication skills that is clear, coherent, and appropriate with attention to detail.Excellent IT skills including HRIS systems, updating systems to ensure effective reporting and user accessibility.Good at developing and maintaining good and effective working relationships.Have an interest in homelessness and a desire to support us to have a positive impact on the lives of homeless people.
