HR Business Partner (12 month FTC)

Reporting to the Head of HR Business Partnering and working within a global Business Partnering team you will be responsible for supporting the UK business working closely with your business leaders on all elements of the HR lifecycle from engagement, org design, mergers and acquisitions, performance management, to diversity, equity, inclusion, policy embedding and employee relations ensuring accountability at all levels of the organisation. This is an exciting opportunity to own all HR matters from influencing business leaders, through to BAU HR activities. Partnering with your business areas, you will proactively tackle people challenges and provide professional HR advice, support, and guidance to management and employees. As a key member of the global HR team, you will play a key role in the success of delivering the global HR strategy.In addition, there are a variety of projects to get involved with which will assist in ensuring the CFC culture and core values are embedded. About the role

To drive and deliver through the business leaders, people programs and strategies that enhance CFCs culture – including performance management, absence management, talent development & feedback, employee engagement and retention and internal communications.  Accountable for brokering with the specialist group HR teams (L&D, Talent Acquisition, Operations) to ensure successful delivery of the global HR strategy and business requirements To partner with your business leaders on organisational design and planning  To provide HR advice, guidance and coaching to line managers in relation to discipline, grievance, conduct, performance, capability, and absence case management, seeking specialist input and support as appropriate on a case-by-case basis. Drive informed decision-making by using data and metrics To own all employee relations matters within your business area, ensuring managers are equipped to resolve issues whilst adhering to local labor laws in alignment with group HR policy Promote and implement best practice in line with policies, procedures, and guidelines. Assist in the development of people policies, procedures, and guidelines to support line managers with practical interpretation where applicable Work closely with managers across your business areas as the primary “go to HR contact” for guidance, coaching and counsel on all people management HR issues.  Support, guide, and counsel managers across the talent spectrum incl. promotions, workforce planning, remuneration and supporting the annual pay & rewards process, following best practice and compliance with any contractual or legal obligations.

About you

Strong experience as an HR Business Partner with deep talent, well-being and DE&I experience and the ability to influence at senior levels The demonstration of strong judgement and EMEA Employee Relations experience is essential along with strong stakeholder management and relationship building skills  Ability to work effectively within a global matrix management structure  Continually monitor and maintain company policies and procedures, whilst remaining current on relevant legal issues relating to employment A proficient level of regulatory and compliance know-how as it relates to HR within a regulated environment, combining strong technical skills with a pragmatic, commercial approach Strong organizational skills, and the ability to juggle multiple different matters and keep track of critical deadlines Exceptional communicator, both written and oral, along with an ability to communicate professionally with a wide variety of stakeholders, including senior management, as required Have a data-driven and solution finding approach to decision making Ability to develop strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, both internal and external, and to work collaboratively Aptitude in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Excel, Power Point
