Job Description

As the Head of Data Delivery, you will report directly to the Chief Data Officer (CDO) and be responsible for overseeing both tactical and strategic data projects. Your primary objective will be to ensure the successful delivery of data initiatives on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities include:

Lead and manage the execution of data delivery projects across the organization. Develop and implement strategies to align data initiatives with business objectives. Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to translate business needs into deliverable solutions. Showcase the capabilities of the Data team and demonstrate how data solutions can drive business growth. Utilize project management tools such as JIRA or Monday to efficiently track and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Oversee expectation management to ensure all stakeholders are adequately informed and engaged throughout project lifecycles. Actively participate in the Data Leadership Team, contributing to strategic decision-making and fostering collaboration among team members. Ensure the timely and successful delivery of projects while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. Manage project portfolios and budgets, aligning with capital and operational targets. Promote a culture of data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Head of Data Delivery position should possess the following qualifications:

Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex data concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Strong presentation abilities, capable of delivering compelling updates to senior management and key stakeholders Demonstrated experience in identifying and capitalising on data-driven business opportunities Proven ability to collaborate effectively with Analytics, Insight, and CRM teams Extensive knowledge of data strategy and the ability to promote its adoption across the organisation Mentorship experience, with a track record of developing team members' skills and advancing their careers Proficiency in managing project portfolios and budgets, ensuring alignment with capital and operational targets Commitment to delivery excellence and a history of successful project completions Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Data Science, or Business Analytics; advanced degree preferred
