This pivotal role involves driving data-driven decision-making, leading the technical delivery of AI models (with a particular focus on Large Language Models), and collaborating closely with product and engineering teams to embed data solutions into the heart of the business. The What?

As theHead of Data and AI, you will:

• Define and execute the overarching data and AI strategy aligned with business goals.
• Oversee data operations, partnering with product teams to derive insights that enhance product development and customer experiences.
• Lead and develop a high-performing data team, including Data Engineers and Data Analysts, ensuring alignment with best practices in data management.
• Innovate and deploy cutting-edge AI models, emphasizing LLMs and NLP, integrating these technologies seamlessly into SaaS products.
• Manage the design and maintenance of secure, scalable data architectures leveraging Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake, and other tools.
• Work collaboratively with engineering teams to guide the integration of data and AI solutions throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) while championing CI/CD for continuous enhancement.
• Foster strong stakeholder relationships, translating complex technical details into clear business insights for non-technical audiences.
• Ensure data governance and compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Tech Environment

• Cloud: Azure-focused data ecosystem (Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database, Azure Machine Learning).
• AI/ML: Strong focus on LLMs, NLP applications, and machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow.
• Development: CI/CD pipeline management, integration into full SDLC.
• Tools: Power BI for visualization and reporting, along with other data analytics tools.

Hybrid Working
