Role Summary

We are searching for a passionate and experienced Head of AI & ML to shape and implement our client’s artificial intelligence strategy across various business functions.

You should have led an AI strategy process and acted as the key facilitator in delivering that strategy through your team. This person must have played a crucial role in forming the strategy. Ideally, you should also be open to being hands-on when necessary.

As theHead of AI & MLyou will possess a strong foundation inartificial intelligence, machine learning, and data science, complemented by excellent project management skills. You will collaborate with cross-departmental teams to identify needs, encourage innovative thinking, and develop comprehensive AI solutions that tackle complex challenges while supporting the company’s broader objectives.

As the Director of AI & ML, you will:

• Formulate andexecute an end-to-end AI strategythat spans multiple departments, identifying new opportunities for innovation and enhancement.
• Direct AI initiatives from conception to execution, applyingagile methodologiesto boost project efficiency.
• Evaluate andidentify potential investments in AItechnologies and start-ups, crafting strong business cases to secure necessary funding.
• Build and leada high-performing team of AI professionals and data scientists.
• Ideally utilise the OpenAI platforms, maintaining a secure internal environment for AI innovation and testing.
• Develop and refine AI policiesin accordance with evolving ethical standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Relevant certifications or degree, AI related
• Proven experience in leading AI teams and managing complex projects effectively.
• Experience leading an end-to-end
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex concepts clearly.
• Familiarity with relevant AI technologies and platforms, particularly those within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.
