Contract: Full-Time / Permanent
Salary: £57,475 - £67,925 Dependent on Experience & Discretionary Bonus Scheme

About the Role:
EG Group has an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Financial Systems Accountant to join our expanding business! This role will business partner across the Group function of the finance department and collaborate with various departments to enhance system efficiency, provide training, and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
This role is responsible for managing and overseeing the Oracle EPM consolidation and planning system, as well as influencing the effective adoption of Blackline utilised for account reconciliations. The successful candidate will support the delivery of accurate and timely consolidation financial data and the maintenance of data integrity.
What you’ll be doing:
• Ownership and administration of Oracle EPM which is being implemented by the Group for consolidation and planning purposes.
• Develop and maintain effective BI for financial reporting, planning and analysis.
• Oversee the ongoing implementation and management of Oracle EPM and Blackline which the Group are utilising for consolidation and account reconciliations respectively. • Lead in supporting finance team members on Oracle EPM and Blackline functionalities and best practices.
• Stay updated on the Groups accounting policies and associated accounting framework, ensuring compliance across consolidation processes and reconciliations.
• Continuously evaluate and improve consolidation and planning processes, streamline workflows, and implement best practices.
• Develop and ensure compliance with internal controls within the consolidation and reconciliation processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, tax, treasury, and IT to ensure accurate and timely financial data consolidation.
• Support external auditors during the annual audit process, addressing queries and ensuring timely completion of audit deliverables.

What we’re looking for:
• Essential: Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• Experience in group accounting function
• Strong Excel skills • Finance Systems Expertise
• Business Partnering
• Desirable: Experience in preparing financial consolidation and reconciliation processes
• Desirable: Experience in implementation
