Your role in the team The Financial Analyst will be joining the Law & Regulation Finance team and play a key role in providing financial support for Allstates Law & Regulation department through comprehensive financial reporting, analysis, planning & budgeting. The analyst will collaborate closely with the team to ensure accurate and timely financial insights that drive decision-making and operational efficiency for a critical function within Allstate. Key Responsibilities Isolate key drivers, quantify impacts, and forecast implications to the business Provide accurate, timely reports with financial insight to allow business partners to improve performance Use analysis to influence and drive action within finance and our business partners by using fact-based, holistic and forward-looking perspectives to identify emerging issues and assist in implementation of strategies Prepare and help build storyline for financial updates Develop effective presentations for small groups Essential Skills Finance related degree and 1 years experience in a finance/accountancy role, OR Minimum 3 years experience in a Finance/Accountancy role, AND A minimum of 1 years' experience with financial modeling and analytics skills, with proven experience in forecasting, budgeting and variance analysis. Experience with MS Office Suite with strong Excel formula experience. A minimum of 1 years' experience with financial reporting systems (SAP, Workday, Hyperion, or similar ERP tools) A minimum of 1 years' experience with financial statements, key performance indicators and cost analysis. Applicants must be willing and eligible to travel to the USA Desirable Skills: Good knowledge of control environments and SOX Experience in the insurance or financial services industry. Prior experience supporting operational or legal functions. Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL).
