The company solves some real problems pertaining to big data storage, processing, machine learning and data visualisation. They are looking for a Google Cloud DevOps Engineer who can help them reshape the future of market research and data insights.
What You'll Be Doing:
• Working in partnership with our software engineering teams
• Responsible for building and operating next-generation infrastructure for supporting
• Contributing to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and concerned cloud
technologies
• Testing and deploying software quickly
• Making sure the highest standards of reliability and security
• Automating the build and deployment of infrastructure
• Handling orchestration technologies in a hybrid-cloud environment using Terraform, Puppet, Docker, Kubernetes
• Ensuring security, scalability, cost and high-performance
What You'll Bring to the Role:
• Exposure to Linux administration skills
• Very good knowledge of technical architecture that includes micro-
services, serverless functions, NoSQL
• Proven expertise in Configuration Management tools using Puppet and Ansible
• Establishing and supporting CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or Bamboo
• Deep knowledge of GCP and Terraform, networking and TCP/IP
• Proficiency in Python, Ruby, Go or Java
• Monitoring, log aggregation and tooling with the help of Cloudwatch,
New Relic, Splunk, ELK
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience in Hadoop, HDFS, Spark
